Long time....No blog :)

I'm just noticing it has been a while since the last time I blogged! It has been a BUSY end of summer for us. We finally put our house up for sale a few weeks ago.....and....it's still for sale if you know of anyone interested :). The girls are 7 months old; Luke is 18 months old....and they are keeping all of us BUSY BUSY BUSY. My sister is getting ready to have TWINS in the next few weeks, so there will be more kids in the family very soon! That means my help will be cut short! Ha! Oh well, I guess I've hogged it enough for a while.

The girls started eating baby food a couple of months ago, and it has taken a little while to get use to feeding 3 times the amount of baby food. Just when I get the bottle feeding down to an art....we have to add baby food!!! I can't wait for the day that they can feed themselves....just like Luke....put 'em in their highchairs and clean up the mess afterwards! They are all rolling over and pushing up on their arms a little now. It's wierd with them being 7 months old and a little slow at milestones....but I have to try and remember that they were 2 months early. They are all very healthy though....Juliet is just a little small....but she's growing! They have all found their tongues and feet over the past few weeks. They spit and sputter and put their feet in their mouths :). Reese sticks her tongue out all the time....(especially when she gets tickled at something) as you can see in the picture!

Luke is getting to be such a big boy. It kinda makes me sad. I wish I could just keep him at this age....well, maybe if he could talk and use the potty....then that would be PERFECT! He is so sweet and so funny. His favorite things these days are going outside (of course), playing with his cars and his Daddy, dancing and being silly, and watching The Backyardigans and Horton Hears a Who. He will watch the entire movie....LOVES IT! For the past couple of days, it has just been me and him here. Mama has the girls; she's bringing them back today. Anyway, he's been sleeping in the bed with me. He is a good little snuggler....I LOVE it. It may not be good rest, but I love to wake up to him rooting around or wake up with an arm or a foot in my face. It makes me laugh. His hair in the morning time also makes me laugh! SWEET BABY!

Getting bigger and bigger :)

Just wanted to post a few pictures of the kids since it's been awhile since my last post! Everybody is doing good and getting SO BIG. The girls and Luke are learning new things every day. They are all so sweet and funny. We just laugh and laugh and laugh....

Twinkies

Juliet and Reese are looking a LOT alike these days. People easily get them confused....especially in pictures. Juliet is still lagging behind in the weight department, so it's easy to tell her from the other two in person. I couldn't leave Allie out, so she makes an appearance in the last picture.
All is well here at the Westmoreland home. We have been in DeKalb all weekend. Chad's been fishing and I have been playing with babies :). They are such little chatter boxes. They will "talk and talk and talk"....like they are really trying to tell you something. It's the funniest thing. I don't remember Luke being this talkative. I'm sure we are all in for some interesting conversations in the future!!!

Yummy!! Fruit flavored whirls & my sister :)

Snapped these pictures this morning....Luke sitting in the cabinet eating generic fruit loops :) and Reese trying out the baby bumbo seat. She did pretty good. Luke had to pull his chair up and sit beside her. He loves his sisters :).

Lovin' the beach!!

We just got back from a trip to the beach with our friends Amber and Lee and their kids, Maddox and Ivey Kate. We had the best time....Luke LOVED the beach. Let me stress.....LOVED IT. He played and played and played, then he would just fall out from being so tired. In the mornings when he woke up, first he drank his chocolate milk (as always)....then he found whoever's shoe was the closest and headed to the door. That's his way of saying he wants to go outside. Kind of like a dog :)...hehe!!It was too cute. He watched and learned from Ivey Kate. She is already climbing on EVERYTHING. Luke hadn't started that yet...until after our trip. Now, he's climbing on the couch. Oh boy, a whole other set of worries. Oh, in case anyone's wondering....HECK NO, we didn't take the triplets :)....and I mean that in the most loving way! We did miss them, though. My mama kept them and we called every morning and night to check on them. From what I gather, they had PLENTY of attention (as usual). Can't wait until our beach trip next year.....and the girls can go with us this time....along with a few babysitters :).

Babies, babies, babies...and other stuff :)

These are some pics of the girls (left to right...Allie, Reese, Juliet) from our most recent photo session :)....and Luke....he had to be in it too! The girls are so sweet these days...always smiling and laughing and they are growing so fast! Luke is still as sweet and funny as ever. He's trying to talk a little now, well...he talks alot, but it's just "jibberish"...we can't understand a thing he says! We are training him well, though....notice him sweeping the kitchen floor! :)

We've been traveling like crazy these past couple of weeks....back and forth visiting our families. I'm kinda surprised at how well the kids travel. Luke just watches cartoons on the DVD player and the girls sleep all the time.....who ever said traveling with four kids is hard? :) Now, PACKING for four kids....that's another story. We went down to the coast to visit Chad's family last weekend. We started packing the night before which made it a little easier, but it's crazy....you have to pack up God's creation when you leave and you gotta have all these plans like "where are the girls gonna sleep?" and "where are we gonna sleep?" and lets not forget about sweet big brother! Plus, we have to actually take food and formula to feed all these kiddos. It is a trip!! but it's also a lot of fun, too! As much as I have complained about how hard things are (WHICH IT IS), it's getting a little easier. The girls have started sleeping around 5 to 6 hours at night which is SUCH A BLESSING. I never realized how well I can function on such little sleep!...and Chad too. I mean, he actually has a job where he has to get up and GET DRESSED and use his brain all day long. I would pass out or just sit there and stare at the wall. I seem to spend half of my day (at least) in my PJ's. It's not very glamorous, I know. BUT...I think we are finally figuring out how to handle all the kids at the same time, plus everything else that goes on in running a household! MULTI-TASKING will definitely go on my resume if I ever get another job :).

Anyway....I just wanted to update everyone on what's going on over here. Also...we are fixing up the house we'll be living in when we move. So, the moving process has started! It's REALLY bittersweet, though 'cause we love it over here. We will really miss the neighborhood we live in, but it will be nice to be close to family!! My sister is having TWIN BOYS in the fall, so all the kids will be able to play together when they get older. It's gonna be fun!

Name that baby...

Okay....see how well you know the triplets. Which one is this? I'm posting this picture 'cause she confused me when I first looked at her.
